Vidas Ginevicius has made all his effort to make sure that his team "Kedainiai-Triobet" could celebrate and bring trophey home. He had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and became the most valuable player in the winning game for the bronze medals in the Lithuanian Federation Cup.

„As far as I remember, the team has not won any title for a while, so it is a great present for the city. Of course, the bronze medal is very important for me as well" - said V. Ginevicius.

- Were you trying to save energy during the semifinals against "Zalgiris"?

- No. Of course, "Zalgiris" is "Zalgiris" - it is hard  to fight against them but we tried.

- Do you think that "Rudupis" seemed to be tired after the lost semifinal game?

- it is hard to say. It was extremely hard psychologically for them to concentrate after they lost by one point yesterday. We played a good game. There were a lot of little things, which helped us to win that game.

- Once "Rudupis" cut your lead to the minimum, did you think that you will not be able to hold the win?

- Not at all. Our team led by 14-16 points during the game but it is not that much in todays basketball. We have proved that in Siauliai last week. We made a few mistakes and "Rudupis" used it.

- Do you still have ambitions to play at a higher level?

- No doubt. I am still in good shape. The team has started slowly this season, so I am here to help the team to make to the play-offs of the LKL. There is no time to think about the upcoming season.

- How do you manage to stay in shape and play so well at your age?

- I am not sure. I have a lot of experience and I was lucky that I haven't got any serious injuries so far.

- How will you celebrate?

- I don't know. I haven't made it to the locker room, yet. We will see (laughing...)
