The competitions will be held in "Siemens" and BC "Lietuvos Rytas" arenas.

"Last year, the European championship U-16 was held in Kaunas, Lithuania and it was recognized as the most successfull during the whole history of the european basketball. We want to repeat this success during this year's competition U-18“, – said Mindaugas Spokas during the press conference.

According to M. Spokas, there will be 8 games everyday and all the games will be broadcasted live on the national TV6 channel.

U-18 Men's European Championship – is the 2nd prestigious tournament organized by  „FIBA Europe“. Ussually, the most talented and the most promising players from Europe take part in this competion. 

The countries, which will be competing: Lithuania, Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine, France, Sweden, Latvia, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Germany, Croatia, and Greece.
