Pieno Zvaigzdes, Pasvalys advanced to the third round of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LKF) DNB Cup. They have defeated the second division (NKL) team Mazeikiai 86:65 (21:13, 27:13, 19:19, 19:20) in the second leg of round II in Mazeikiai. Pasvalys won the first match 61:52.

Darius Griskenas (194-F-84, agency: Omega Action) scored 22 points for the winning team. Meanwhile, Eimantas Bendzius (203-F-90) (9 rebounds) and Paulius Morkeliunas (201-F-85, agency: Omega Action) added 12 and Leroy Nobles (195-G/F-87, college: IUPUI) netted 10. Remigijus Trakimas (205-C-87) led Mazeikiai with 18 points while Parrish Brown (185-G-84, agency: Omega Action, college: Maryland) contributed 11 points.

Pasvalys will face Rudupis, Prienai in the III round of the Cup and will fight for a ticket to the final four.
